Ferrite for EMI set in Maxwell EddyCurrent solver

      Hello

I am adding new material for simulating an EMI filter and I need to add properly its data. Is adding the complex relative permeability the correct way as I did here? Should I add the magnetic loss tangent too or would it be double the info?

If the datasheet includes magnetic loss tangent, you should add that on too. After you entered relative permeability and magnetic loss tangent, Maxwell internally computes the imaginary relative permeability and you are fully defining the complex permeability and it's losses.

        Hello Miranda,

so then, the way I inserted the Relative Permeability is not right, I should simply add the real part of permeability there and then compute the Magnetic Loss Tangent as mu''/mu', is that it?
