How to apply an external alternating current uniformly in HFSS ?

I would like to run a simulation in HFSS where a uniform external alternating current is applied.

I was able to find an option to do this in COMSOL, but I was wondering if it is also possible to implement the same setup in HFSS.

You can configure this by selecting Current Source in the Excitations settings.

Thank you for your quick reply!

I realized I should clarify that I would like to apply the external AC current to the entire volume.

I understand that the method you suggested applies the external AC to a surface. Would it be possible to apply it to the whole volume instead?

The Current Source I mentioned in my answer refers to HFSS settings, but what software are you asking about?

I am also using HFSS (Modal Network) and have tried using a current source in the excitation settings.

However, applying a current source to a volume results in an error. I was wondering if there is any workaround to achieve this, similar to the option available in COMSOL.

In HFSS, the Current Source is set using a similar method to Lumped Port.
I'm not familiar with COMSOL settings, but selecting a 3D object to set the Current Source is incorrect in HFSS.
