SubscriberHello everyone,
My idea is to create a 2d airfoil/3d wing geometry on Ansys discovery. Therefore, i need to import coordinates of the airfoils that compose the wing, and then extrude through the airfoils.Â
Â
Is there an option in Discovery to do that? (It was possible in Design modeller and Spaceclaim).

SubscriberYes you can. It works exactly like SpaceClaim that you import the text file with File->Open and open the txt file. A line will be created. Select the line and hit F to fill, creating a surface body. This surface body can then be pulled to get the third dimension (if desired).
The form of the text file can be obtained from the link on the middle of this page: https://innovationspace.ansys.com/courses/courses/flow-over-an-airfoil/lessons/geometry-lesson-3-33/
