Ansys EmployeeWhy do you want to convert .k file to .step? Keyword format is the input format that the ls-dyna solver understands. If you want to run this model using LS-DYNA, then the input has to be in LS-DYNA keyword format. If you are getting error loading the file in LS-PrePost then post those errors here.
In the ls-run screenshot, you shared a picture showing error termination but have you checked the messag file to see the error message? One thing I noticed in the ls-run setup is that the input file path at the top is different from the path shown in the preview section. Please also note that input file path has spaces which can cause issues in running the solver command. In the "expression" field add input file in quotes ("i=$INPUT") to resolve the space issue.Â

Subscriberyou can cannot convert the file into step format.  THe best thing I've discovered that we can do is import the k file into LSPP and export a stl file.   This is a faceted body that is useful if you want to recreate the baseline geometry of a k file that osmeone else has made.  I've done that a few times by importing the exported stl file into a CAD program like solidworks and then recreate the geometry from the outline of the faceted body.  Discovery also has a reverse engineering tool that can turn faceted body directly into solid bodies if that helps.Â
Maybe give that a try if all you need is to recreate the geometry.Â
