Hello,

I am having this script error while converting my RMxprt model to Maxwell 2D. It s a 4 pole, 36/44 combination 3 phase induction motor. 

I see the following error while conversion. I have checked the community portal for this, couldn't find the answer.

Script macro error: Script Error (Code 8002801d) in file:  SFinal Simulation/After ANSYS meet/coupling_files/dpall/global/Ansoft/MaxwellProject.aedtresults/RMxprtDesign1.results/DV65_SOL51_V109.MExportData/Maxwl2DV.vbs

Line(9):  "Set oDesktop = oAnsoftApp.GetAppDesktop()"

Can someone please help me with this??

Try opening an RMprt Example from our Example folder and creating a Maxwell Design. If this is successful then be sure your model is setup as the Example model. Please take a look at our documentation for more details.

The standard example of induction motor solves successfully. but shows the same error while conversion. i tried raising a ticket but they asked me to go to student community again. Please help me with this issue.

this is 99% issue with admin rights. When you create Maxwell model it is running VBS script in background. You are not allowed -> crash

 

Please check with your IT.

Hello everyone;nI've been trying to solve this problem out for 4 hours so far, and finally i managed it.nnGet a cleaner program first. (I'm using Iobit unistaller but doesn't matter as long as you can clean the registry as well while running uninstallation)nClean all the ms visual program(s), addons and etc.nAfter that download Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable Prerequisites ( https://download.microsoft.com/download/3/b/f/3bf6e759-c555-4595-8973-86b7b4312927/vc_redist.x64.exe )nInstall AnsysEM afterwards and your problem will be solved.nn
