SubscriberI have a problem related to coupled SPH-FEM analysis using LS-Dyna. 3D Simulation is to be done. I have around 10,000 solid particles, each particle has a diameter of 60 micrometres. These particles are moving at a certain velocity of around 400 m/s toward the skin model, and after impacting the skin, the particles penetrate up to a certain depth under the skin. I have to find the penetration depth covered by these particles under the skin.Â
How to give each particle a diameter of 60 micrometres in the SPH in PrePost? Â

Ansys EmployeeHi,Â
Currently, LSPP does not generate the SPH based on the diameter of the particle; instead, it works on filling the given volumes.Â
You can use LS-Dyna Workbench, which allows you to generate SPH bodies based on the user-defined particle diameter. The smaller the diameter, the greater the number of particles that will be generated.Â
Cheers, RamÂ
