SubscriberHello, I am simulating an axial flux motor (2D simplification). The solution setup is transient. I set the linear speed to correspond to 10000 RPM. The max phase back EMF is 5.2 V. The torque however is around 2.15 mNm with phase currents <0.3 A. The torque constant is higher than the back EMF constant. Why is this the case? The torque is calculated by taking the Force_X and multiplying by R. Â

Ansys EmployeeHello, the torque is calculated by the software. You can check the torque results if you create a transient plot> Rectangular plot> Moving1.Torque (Y quantity).Â

Subscriber@escape road city 2 Confirm the units for both torque and EMF constants (e.g., Ke should be in V/rad/s, not V/RPM).
