SubscriberHello,
I am facing issues running a two-way Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) simulation using System Coupling in ANSYS 2023 R2. The same setup works perfectly fine on some PCs but fails on others. The setup includes:
Transient Structural (ANSYS Mechanical)
Fluent (for transient flow)
Two-way FSI using System Coupling
Errors observed:
System Coupling output:
"System coupling solution stopped before all participants connected. A solver failure occurred during the run in the Transient Structural system."Transient Structural Chart:
"MAPDL is unable to connect to the system coupling service on [host] through port 55903. Check the --scport and --schost options."- Fluent also throws:
CortexNotAvailableException
I have attached screenshots showing the system coupling log and error messages from both Fluent and Transient Structural. The EnvironmentControl option is set to "ExternallyManaged" for both participants, as required.
Any guidance on troubleshooting or environment configuration would be appreciated. Thank you!
