  Spaceclaim does not have "thermal" tab on the top after re-installing, what should I do?

  Did you install Thermal Desktop after installing SpaceClaim?
  Have you checked the compatibility of your versions?

  Hi, yes I did install thermal desktop after spaceclaim. I have spaceclaim 2025 and autocad 2024. Does spaceclaim need to be 2024 as well?

  SpaceClaim 2024 R2 is required (not related to the requirement for AutoCAD 2024).

  Can I just uninstall spaceclaim 2025 and install the 2024 R2 or do I have to unstall thermal desktop and reinstall that after spaceclaim?

  No need to uninstall Thermal Desktop. After installing SpaceClaim 2024 R2, you can rerun just hte Thermal Desktop installer to ensure the connections are made. It will likely ask if you want to repair the application.

  Hi again, I have the student license and it is said on the ansys website that the build in licese will last until 07/31/2025, does that mean when it's the end of july, TD direct will be support on the 2025 spaceclaim? Or I will be able to extend the license on the 2024 R2 one? Thank you.

  TD Direct will not move past SpaceClaim 2024R2. We are developing a product to replace TD Direct that is based on the Ansys Discovery platform.
