SubscriberHello! I am working on a composite pipe and would like to test it in Ansys to insure it withstands all the applied loads. By definition of the Tsai-Hill and Tsai-Wu criterions, failure presents when the value reaches 1. I remember running the simulation a couple of months ago, and that was true also in Ansys. But now, it shows failure when the value surpasses 0,25 and I don't trust the results anymore. I checked the Tsai-Wu constant values and they are the same (all -1) to the carbon I worked with previously, when the value of failure was still 1. If anybody has an idea why that changed, please explain it to me.
