Subscriber i am trying to do flow simulation of VARTM process. The process uses a flexible bag called the vacuum bag which exerts a compaction pressure(the pressure is vacuum pressure -atm pressure) to composite inside the bag {acts top surface}. The composite is porous and resin is made to flow from one end (inlet) to outlet {plane perpendicular to compaction surface, inlet and outlet are selected along opposite face } i have attached a pic for ease of understanding refer to inlet outlet  , the resin flows from the inlet to outlet due to vacuum pressure created and also due to compaction pressure it ensures infusion, the composite material is glass fiber which is having a dim of 30* 30 cm stacked layer by layer and the resin flows through it.  the end product is the composite with dim 30* 30 *0.3 cm composite   For simulation i have considered the composite to be rectangle of dim 30* 30* 0.32 cm, i have defined the body to be porous with porosity 0.5  my problem is how can i define the flexible bag and also put the effect of compaction pressure.  can u please help me out.

SubscriberHey John!nWe are doing this project and facing the same problems as you do here. Have u found its solution? Like vacuum pressure at the outlet and inlet velocity due to vacuum pump etc? Your generous help will be appreciated.nRegards,nFahadnFahad.bs101@gmail.comn
