SubscriberHi all,
I have been trying to work with iso-surfaces across time steps.
Here’s what I wanted to achieve:
· At time t₁, I generate an iso-surface over a certain set of cells in my domain from time step 1.
· At time t₂, I obtain another iso-surface from time step 2, which may overlap with or include different cells than at t₁.
· After t₂, I want the total spatially integrated iso-surface to include all cells that were part of the iso-surfaces at t₁ and t₂.
Is there any specific method available to perform such operations. My simulation is a multiphase vof model.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Forum ModeratorYou can have a look at surface export (possibly as a VRML file) and then import>imprint.

SubscriberHi Rob,
Thanks for responding. The surface imprint option works in .stl, .msh, .cas files if I understand right.
I want to, for example, export iso surface created in time step 1, for example as shown below. This way I have few formats of exporting the iso surface, so with this appraoch can I still use surface imprint to combine the iso surface from this time step with the second time step?

Forum ModeratorAh, they've changed something. I've done something "clever" in older releases. I'll have a look, but may not be able to share immediately if it's really "clever".
