Effect of time scale constant in stochastic tracking of DPM particles

  I want to know the effect of time-scale constant of Turbulent Dispersion on DPM simulations, I've seen the theory guide and it has not been much of a help to me.
  
  The above shows the simulation of different order time scale constants. The figure with a lower time scale constant is more close to the actual simulation.
