SubscriberHello,
I am doing some cfd-dem coupling simulations. When I load the dat.file and add the volume rendering, only the legend shows and changes with varing timesteps but no view of my sperical liquid droplet shows in the screen as shown in the following picture. Could anyone please give me some advice?
Best regards,
Ziping

SubscriberHello,
I found an abnormal point during modelling in Ansys Fluent2023R2. When I add a contour in Fluent, it can only be seen in the -z direction as shown in the first picture. In +z direction, nothing shows as shown in the second picure. I am not sure whether this is related with my problem in CFD post.
Best regards,
Ziping

Forum ModeratorFluent VOF and CFD Post don't always play well. If you plot a contour can you see anything?Â
The Fluent image is odd, and I've never seen that issue. Can you double check your model isn't off the side of the view?Â

SubscriberThank you for your reply. Unfortunately, if I plot a contour, I cannot see anything either.
For the two fluent pictures, the second one is directly obtained by switching the axis. I checked again it is not off the side of the view.
Maybe it will be better for now that I restart the simulation and let the simulation run to the end. I am just afraid that if there is no view of the fluid, it is hard for me to judge whether the simulation works as expected or not. Thank you again for your advice!

Forum ModeratorCFD Post isn't widely used for Fluent post processing, that's been the case for about 3-4 years. Switching the angle in Fluent shouldn't alter what's displayed, other than if the view then omits the object (ie looking in the wrong place). Hence me wondering why you're not seeing something in Fluent.Â
