Cylindrical (rotational) symmetry simulation around x direction

      Hi everyone,

Is there any opportunity to make a cylindrical (rotational) axisymmetry simulation in Maxwell where the axis of symmetry is x (not z)?

I tried to make a model that uses both Fluent and Maxwell through system coupling, but the problem is that Fluent uses x-axis as the axis of symmetry, while Maxwell uses z-axis for symmetry.

Yes, you can change that in Motion Setup. Type tab->Moving vector: select the rotating axis

        Hi MirandaH,

I am not shure that we speak about the same thing. I want to use magnetostatic simulation in 2D axisymmetric geometry mode with "cylindrical about X" not Z axis. Is it possible?
