ANSYS Student: Do we need to activate student license?

  Hello everyone,
  when we install ANSYS student, is there a way for us to activate out student license?
  Because when I installed mine, they never asked for my student email or anything so I wonder how is it checked that we are student? Only after installation, I made an account, not before.
  I am asking because I ran into some license issues on ANSYS Discovery. So I wonder if it's because I did not activate my license.
  Any help would be appreciated.

  No, assuming you install as Admin and use the default path (C:something or other) it should just work. The licence is embedded into the install. Student is for private learning, so isn't strictly just for students.
