Database Failed to Open when Importing GDS file

  Hello, I recently installed Ansys Electronics Desktop Student 2024 R2. I am trying to import a GDS file, but I get the error "database failed to open." Does anyone know how to fix this or what the problem might be?

  Hello jpeterki,
  In AEDT student version, you can import DXF and STEP formats only.
  Please go throuh the link below for more iformation on AEDT product restrictions:
