hii while i am doing charge simulation i am getting an error like The program terminated due to an error: Initialization failed to converge charge update due to numerical failure. For instructions on how to troubleshoot this issue, please refer to this:
INCREDIBLE5(process 0): Error: there was an unknown parallel error. The error code is 9010, the process number is 0 what should i do.. -

This error often shows when some settings inlcuding material and mesh. In particular the solver: first try the Newton solver type, and then try with Gummel in case the issues are not resolved. You may also try to modify the mesh--min edge length.

i did all your suggestion also i went through the site and made all the needful adjustment, but still i am getting same error.
could you please tell me more about material setting and mesh??

Material settings mean the value of the parameters you choose. For example, the "mobility" tab, there are several parameters need to be given correctly under your device working condition.
As for the mesh, you may need to try increase/decrease the max and min edge lengths, tolerance etc.
It is very challenge for us to give specific instructions to resolve this issue, simply based on the error message. " The error code is 9010" can be anything: you can search it online. Unfortunately by the forum policy we are allowed to give you general suggestions in resolving an issue. If you are eligible to have email support please send us email with your file attached.
Otherwise please refer to the troubleshooting article. Usually it is not a turnkey solution so you will need trial and errors to adjust the parameters. There are some physical mechanisms that may affect the simulation. However it might not be easy to find which one. It might need more physics insights to the device.
