SubscriberHi there,
I'm looking into the fatigue life of a structure under cyclical loading. I have data to input as forces in the x,y,z directions respectively. I am planning on using the rainflow method to input this data and use the fatigue combination tool to determine the fatigue life.
Is there a way to have 3x inputs of historic data (.dat) files in the same static structural analysis? It seems I can only input 1x .dat file per static structural. Ideally I am looking to have 3x .dat files to represent my x,y,z forces - and then sum the cumulative damage from each one.
If that is not possible, is there a way to run a seperate static structural for the x,y,z respectively and then sum the fatigue damage from each?
Cheers,
Ben
