Hi,
I am currently calculating eddy-current losses in permanent magnets in my IPMSM model.
I want to know by what procedure in Maxwell 2D Transient the eddy-current loss in permanent magnets is calculated. (related to SolidLoss calculation procedure)
Figure below is my settings for the permanent magnet.
Thank you.

Hello,
You can right click the magnet>>Excitation>>Set eddy effect to enable eddy current on the magnet, then Maxwell will calculated the solid loss on magnet based on the eddy current value and magnet conductivity.
