Calculating capacitance of two open edges of patch

      Hi,

I want to determine the value of capacitance between two open edges of patch and the ground plane. A plane wave from the floquet port is incident on the patch which is etched on a grounded dielectric slab.

It is okay to put two lumped ports on two open edges and to calculate capacitance of these edges using S/Z parameters? But how this can be done? Also since I want to capture the contribution of capacitance by the 'full length' of open slots, is it sufficient to put thin lump ports on these edges and try to derive the capacitance of these individual slots?

What is the best way to quantify the capacitance of these open edges in HFSS in the setup that I have shown below.
