Hi guyz, can anyone help with Ansys issues? I'm modeling a reinforced concrete beam retrofitted with mortar. After assigning all the necessary properties, I modeled it and tried to solve it, but its not giving me the desired result. I thought the problem was with the model but when I removed all rebars from the model expecting that the RC beam will break under the applied force, the result was still the same as before. Please what can I do? I'm currently using Ansys 2024R2 student version

Hi,
What type of Analysis are you performing?
You might want to check this explicit dynamics analysis ANSYS Reinforced Concrete Beam (RC BEAM) - Explicit Dynamics (youtube.com)
You can also check how the Static Analysis is being handled by this guys ANSYS Tutorial Reinforced Concrete Beam (RC BEAM) - Static Structural (youtube.com and ANSYS Tutorial: Nonlinear analysis of Reinforced Concrete Beam and compare with test results (youtube.com)
