And as a more general comment, with the volume fraction you have there may not be enough parcel mass to make much of a difference. Check the rho.cp term as that's determining how much heat is stored in a unit mass of particles per degree: conductivity shouldn't do anything given the particle size. Note, I use the terms parcel and particle deliberately as there is a difference.
