Forum ModeratorDo you need to include the holes, or are you just wanting to see the pressure loss? Read up on porous media, and specifically porous jump.Â

SubscriberI need the holes since I want the flow characteristics too. It's a part of the model where it's acting as a fin. I've tried porous media on a hollow cylinder but the results didn't match with the experimental model -

Forum ModeratorYou just want a porous jump for the tube surface, or a porous media if the tube has a physical size.Â
I wouldn't try and get a structured mesh on this: it'll take ages and hasn't been necessary in about 15 years! You will need a fine mesh to pick up the holes and any jetting so some domain decomposition will be necessary.Â

SubscriberAlright, I'll go ahead with porous media and tweak with it. Thank You
