I need to connect two coils in series one have 10 turns and the other has 20 turns. Each turn carries a 1A current. İs it possible to do it Ansys maxwell by using cylinders for coil representation. After creating two cylinders I choose their crossection and assign terminal. I arrange number of conductors to be 10 and 20 respectively.I then add these two coil terminals to different windings: winding1, winding2 and choose type as external. When I create an external circuit and connect windings in series I relaized that ıf I put a current source in the system that gives for example 10A this 10A current will pas through the cross section of both of the windings but 20A should pass through the crossection of the winding that has 20 turns.

Hi,
It seems like you would like to keep the 10 Amp*turn MMF, then the current in 20-turn coil is 0.5 Amp per turn. In this case, you can still use 1 A current excitation, but you need to use 2 as the number of parallel branches for the 20-turn coil.
