Hi everyone. I've been trying to do analysis of friction stir welding. I though i had to do it on couple field transient system and i tried but i couldn't make it sucsess because im new at ansys and there is not much example about couple field transient analysis systems. So i gave up trying that and decided to start analysis of spot friction spot welding on explicit dynamics system. Now i'm having trouble witht that too :) I believe that i've done everything ok but at the result part of total deformation there is not any color change. So i wonder if there is anyone check my files and say my fault. Also i'm open to any tips too.

Hi Mert,
Could you please check the total deformation for individual parts of the body, rather than just the entire model? There's a chance the maximum deformation might occur within a hidden section, invisible in the current view.  Scoping the analysis to individual parts would be helpful.

I've tried that too there is not any change. I played the result too there are few color changes on the tool but the sheet which get pierced is not changing color that much while it has to be most.

Thanks for your patience. 
Will you please check the following? 
I'm not sure, but you could play the animation and see if the plate material is eroding. This might explain why you're getting large deformation values in the legend but not seeing the contour results on the body itself.
