SubscriberHey guys. The situation is as follows: I'm trying to simulate the thermal and mechanical impact different levels of liquid oxygen (roughly cooled at 90 K) would have on the aluminium tank it's in. Basically I want to calculate the stress on the tank thats resulting from the cold fluid. Could someone give me a short "roadmap" how I could approach the problem. I'm pretty much a beginner with the ansys toolbox, so any feedback would be much appreciated.Â

Forum ModeratorRather than trying to think how to model something, work out what you need to know. From there, decide what is needed to provide that answer. Then worry about how to model it!Â
In your case, you may not need any CFD models depending on what is going on in the tank.Â
