Co-simulation using Maxwell and Simplorer

I am using Maxwell 2D to design Prius 2004 PMSM, and I want to develop control system using Simplorer but I faced a problem and I need help.

Firstly, I developed the model using Maxwell 2D and I applied specific three phase current, and I recorded the Torque.

Then, I enable Transient - Transient link to couple the model with Simplorer, and I changed the excitation to external excitation.

After that, I injected same three phase current buy using three phase current source to the input winding, and I connected a speed source of (3000 rpm) to the motion setup out .

Also, I shorted the output winding of the motor and I connected the motion_setup_in to the ground.

Finally, I analysed the model but the output Torque is not similar to the Torque produced from Maxwell 2D.

How can I fix this problem?

      Thanks.

      Hello Ali,

Please compare current, speed, postions, etc. in Maxwell models of both simulations, to make sure if everything is same.

I belive something is different and the co-simulation results should be same with the Maxwell model with current excitation.

      Hello,

I am having the exact same issue!

I have posted a more detailed explanation to my problem under the following link:

Some guidance here would be highly appreciated.

      Regards,

      Hassan
