Hi all,
I'm running into the error "The geometry editor was closed abnormally." whenever I try to open SpaceClaim or create a mesh using fluent in workbench. I can open SpaceClaim on its own but not via workbench.
To get around the issue, I created my model in SpaceClaim first and then loaded the file into the geometry cell in workbench. However, I get "The geometry editor was closed abnormally." again when I try to create the mesh and I couldn't work around this one.
I've followed the suggestions on this thread:
but non of the suggestions worked.
Any insight into what is causing the issue and potential solutions is greatly appreciated!

Hi again,
I kept trying things and finally something worked! Here is what worked for me:
"
go to
C:Program FilesANSYS IncANSYS Studentv192commonfilesconfigswinx64unconfig
then right click on AnsUnconfigSpaceClaim.exe and 'run as administrator'
now, go to
C:Program FilesANSYS IncANSYS Studentv192commonfilesconfigswinx64config
then right click on AnsConfigSpaceClaim.exe and 'run as administrator'
"
