SubscriberHello All,
I am trying to model an Induction Motor in Motorcad where the material consumption is around 1365kg. While I try to do the same in RMxprt, the weight is coming around 1348kg. Also I could not see the shaft weight included in the RMxprt Material consumption tab. Should the material consumption match with both the MotorCAD and RMxprt always?

Ansys EmployeeHello Vidyabharati,
No, as you said, you may not see some parts in RMxprt, so the values may be different. You could manually calculate and verify the values.

SubscriberIn RMxprt, the weight of the shaft may not be included in the Material Consumption tab by default. It is possible that the weight of the shaft is not accounted for separately in that specific view. However, the shaft weight might still be considered in other calculations or reports within RMxprt.Â
