Hey everyone,
I am trying to simulate a reconfigurable reflecting surface array in hfss. I have already carried out infinite array simulation using floquet port and lattice pair boundaries.
I want to excite the array with an incident plane wave coming from a certain angle, and plot the radiation pattern. Each unit cell in the array contains a diode modelled by series RLC boundary. I want to see the results for varying RLC parameters for each unit cell.
Can anybody please tell how to go about doing this? Thanks

Hi Aman,
Thanks for posting your queries on learning forum.
You can use a plane wave exciatation source to model a incident wave. This should provide you a directivity.
Regarding your second question, modelling the unit cells of array with varying RLC parameters for each, you may raise a service request to Ansys Technical Support and support engineer will get in touch with you to answer your query.
Thanks,
