Dear Ansys support
We have a client cluster of computers serving as Application server for researchers in one department. The system has two instants running. One is Ansys version 18 and the other one is Ansys 16. Â The Ansys 16 is working fine and getting the licncses from licncses server but the version 18 is not able to connect to same licncses server.
Â
Information
The client cluster hardware system is running MS windows 2008 and can be update (old system and it may break in any update).
The licncses server is Microsoft Office Suite 2016 64-bit and the Ansys licncses manager running is 2024 R1.
Please we need a live support to troubleshoot the issue which we have been facing the users for more than one week.
For a contact Jim Tufts (jtufts@iit.edu) as the cluster admin and Dr. Hamid Arastoopour (arastoopour@iit.edu) as the licncses owner (his PHD researchers are  using the cluster system).
Thanks

Hello Mousa,Â
Ansys license manager doesn't support older versions as with the latest update one of the services required to use legacy applications is discontinued, can you please downgrade the license manager version to at least 2023 R2?
