When I go to this link:
https://ftp.lstc.com/user/download_page.html
Windows 10 x 64
It now no longer works for latest version or the no matter the broweser.
In SeaMonkey and Firefox, I get nothing when I click the download link for the installation package.
In Google, I get a new page that says file or page not found.
It did work once about a couple weeks ago, but did not include the LS-Dyna manager. No WinSuite exists for this or the previous versions. I was able to get 14 to download, but it also did not include the manager.
I did go the the Advanced section and manually choose but the end result is the same. Latest will not downlod, prvious do not include the ls-dyna manager.

Hello bolivare,
The link works for me in Google Chrome. Please delete your browser cach and all files (browsing history, etc.) and try again.
https://ftp.lstc.com/user/download_page.html
username: user
password: computer
An alternative is to use the following links:
SMP:
https://user:computer@ftp.lstc.com/user/ls-dyna/
MPP:

I get a link, no issue. But the executable only extracts files to the desktop.  All it does is extract. No installation starts. The folder content does not contain an installer for the LS-Dyna manager. When I go to the download page and make my selection, this is the link it give me at the bottom:  ls-dyna_smp_s_R15.0_12-gea2af5a364_winx64_ifort190_installer.exe
I download that and run it. As stated above, it just extracts files to the dektop folder:  ls-dyna_smp_s_R15.0_12-gea2af5a364_winx64_ifort190
Files extracted: ansyscl.exe, libiomp5md.dll, ls-dyna_smp_s_R15.0_12-gea2af5a364_winx64_ifort190.exe, and lstc_client.exe.
No LS-Dyna manger is installed nor do any of the above files install it. The documentation says there is suppose to gbe a WinSuite that continas the LS-Dyna manager installation, but it does not come with this or previous versoins as far as I can tell.Â
Even clicking the Advanced download and ensuring the WinSuite is checked gives the exact same result form above.
thank you

Hello bolivare,
If you download the LS-DYNA solver only, you will only have the LS-DYNA solver. If you download WinSuite, then you will have WinSuite. Note that WinSuite is not available for all LS-DYNA versions.
I don't recommend installing WinSuite because you don't have the latest software (LS-DYNA solver, LS-PrePost, etc.). I recommend installing the latest versions separately. You already have the link to download LS-DYNA solvers. You will also need LS-PrePost:
LS-PrePost (latest version is 4.11):
https://ftp.lstc.com/anonymous/outgoing/lsprepost
And I recommend using LS-RUN to run LS-DYNA:
https://ftp.lstc.com/anonymous/outgoing/lsprepost/LS-Run/
LS-RUN comes with the Ansys installation and it is the way to run LS-DYNA moving forward. You will find a video tutorial on LS-RUN here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymkTJCefm30
Â
Let me know how it goes.

OK. Let's try this again: Sorry, been very busy at work and have been distracted.
I am trying to download the latest version of LS-Dyna.
I go to this link and log in:
https://ftp.lstc.com/user/download_page.html
My original selections were the default latest version. The only thing changed is what OS I want. I chose Windows.
This is what it offers me only: ls-dyna_smp_s_R15.0.1-2-g33b3b97063_winx64_ifort190_installer.exe
I was able to oringinally download that file w/o issue. After that initial download, it never worked again. I have to reload the page in order to get it to let go because it freezes the page or it takes me to apage saying "not found" in the upper left corner.Â
In order to get any download to work now, I have to go back and select an older version. I want back to R 14.1.
It agve me two links:Â This time first file download, but hte second one hangs the pc again.
So, I go back to R 13.1. The only file it shows is: ls-dyna_smp_s_R13.1_winx64_ifort190_installer.exe
None included the WinSuite package that our professors want.Â
Since none of the above worked, I chose advanced section.
As above, I had to go back to R13.` to get any results to work. And the result is just the same. No manger. By default, in the advanced section, WinInst is checked by default. I leave it checked because I want it. Still no resluts. I unchecked ifort and it didn't care, it gave me the ifort file anyways. Again, no manger.
Currenlty we are running R8 and it has everything. So, I went avove and checked R8. Again, no mWinSuite manager.Â
I have tried 3 different browsers at work and my personal pc at home. I get the exact same issue. In Google, I get "not found", in Firefox it hangs the page and I have to reload and in Seamonkey it hangs the page and I have to reload. If I go to older versoins in any of these browsers, I get results that I can download, but none include the manager.
I don't understand why the lateest version does not include the WinSuite, but ok. What version does and I'll take that.
Our faculty need it and I'm trying to get it.Â
The site may be working for you, but it certainly is not working correctly for me as described above.
thanks

Hello Bob,
I am not able to reproduce your problem on my side.
Please download the software (LS-DYNA solver, LS-PrePost, LS-RUN) manually. I don't recommend using the WinSuite.
Also, note that the program manager is no longer being maintained. Please use LS-RUN moving forward to run LS-DYNA.
LS-DYNA R15.0.1:
https://user:computer@ftp.lstc.com/user/ls-dyna/R15.0.1/

LS-PrePost (latest version is 4.11):
https://ftp.lstc.com/anonymous/outgoing/lsprepost
And I recommend using LS-RUN to run LS-DYNA:

LS-RUN comes with the Ansys installation and it is the way to run LS-DYNA moving forward. You will find a video tutorial on LS-RUN here:

Do you or do you not have the WinSuite installer?
I have a university full of computers that I have to install this on and doing it manually is not an option.
If you cannot help me, also, with the site problem and connot provide me with the WinSuite installer, then I'll move on.
Let me know.
thank you

Hello Bob,
We don't have the WinSuite for all versions. The latest one we have is R12.
We do have a complete install for R14.1:
https://user:computer@ftp.lstc.com/user/ls-dyna/R14.1.0/CompleteInstall/
Give this a try.

Thank you so much.Â
When I can get some free time, I will work on the manual install when I ahve some open time.
I will also have to show the professors how ot access it since how they are apparently is not the recommended way.
I also understand about the downloading and files and such. Thank you for doing that for me and now that I know, I won't ask again.
I will contact my academic representative about the web page not working as it should as well.
Again, thank you for your help.
