During the simulation of the fabricated bilayer metasurfaces, the distance between the two metasurfaces reached millimeter scale, causing the collimated light to dissipate after passing through the first metasurface and failing to reach the second metasurface. Is there any method to solve this problem and prevent light from dissipating while propagating in free space?

Hi Yutong,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I am not quite sure what you mean with "prevent light from dissipating while propagating in free space", I believe this is not happening in ZOS. Would it be possible to attach a screenshot of your simulation, so I can get more details on the issue you are facing?
Kind Regards,
Niki
