mesh is visible while plotting the contours

  Hello,
  
  When I am plotting my velocity contour, I can still see my mesh in contour plot. It is hard to analyze the contour with the mesh in display. Kindly help me to fix this.

  Have you also picked "Display Mesh", left side of the panel in the radio buttons?

  If you're in 2d don't select any surfaces.
  
  Can you post an image as that'll help! It needs to be in line with the text as staff cannot open attachments.

  Yes. I am working in 2D; and selecting no surfaces worked. Thank you !
  
  But, what to do if I want to select a particular surface ? Also, what is the way to correct this if I have a 3D model ?

  I can't see the image: we're not allowed to open links. nFor mesh plot pick what you want to see in 2 and 3d. For contours etc in 2d pick nothing, and the surface(s) of interest in 3d. n
