Hello,
I am a student at BITS Pilani and I am working on a project related to the shrink wrap process. I want to simulate the mechanical behavior of heat shrinkable film using LS-DYNA, but I am not sure how to characterize the material properties of the film. I have read some papers on the topic, but they use different material models such as Thermoviscoelastic Model.
Can anyone suggest a suitable material model and calibration method for heat shrinkable film in LS-DYNA? I am looking for a model that can capture the nonlinear, viscoelastic, and anisotropic behavior of the film under thermal loading.Do I need some experimental data on the film, such as stress-strain curves, relaxation tests, and shrinkage tests?
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
