  Hello,
  
  i used "offset" in "Create" Tab before to set up a parameter to change the thickness of steel angle. Below i was trying to use it and it doesn't create an offset parameter. Rather it creates a Named Selection Group. I chose the "Other Face" surface is split into three surfaces as shown below. Will this cause an issue? I am not sure what i am doing wrong.

  i think offset will not allow you to change the thickness. so you will not be able to create parameter for it.

  As you can see below i am able to create the thickness parameter using Offset. But i noticed if the solid section was created using the Profile tab, it doesnt allow you to create the offset parameter. Is this correct? Thanks!
