SubscriberHi All,
I am simulating the flow of water in a square channel...at the outlet boundary condition is Pressure outlet with Gauge pressure zero...at the inlet mass flow rate is specified...what is the value of Initial/Supersonic gauge pressure i should specify at the inlet?

Ansys Employeeif your flow is going to be supersonic then this value will be considered. if your flow is not supersonic, you can keep it as default i.e. zero.Â

Forum ModeratorFor supersonic flow you'll need to set the initial pressure too: if you click on "Help" in the boundary condition panel it'll take you to the correct page and then read & follow the links.Â
