Conductors per slot

Hi guys. i have a question. I'm working on an engine design but I'm a little confused. I have a BLDC motor with 6 slots. When filling in the winding parameters on rmxprt, should I enter the number of bobbins I wound on each thread into the conductors per slot parameter? Or do I multiply it by 2 and enter? For example, when I put 100 spins on a tooth, what will I put there?

      Hi ibrahim kursun,

In RMxprt number of conductors per slot is equal to the total conductors you are filling in the slot gap. If you are inserting bobbins on the tooth. two bobbins share each slot. So, the number of conductors per slot is equal to the sum of the turns on both bobbins.

Note that this should not include if the conductor going in each turn has strands. there is a separate row in RMxprt below the number of conductors per slot to enter this.

      Regards,

      Navya
