      Hi!

How can I export data contains coordinates - x,y,z and temperature in exact coordinate for separate part in Ansys Transient Thermal?

I tried to do it with CFD-results, but it export only one domain and I can't extract data about need part.

      Hello Katya,

Are you trying to export results from a particular graph or along a line or temperature at a point (in time)? Could you please provide some more specifics about what you are doing?

      Thank you.

      Best,

      Karthik,

      Thank you for your answer.

I'm trying to export results from body temperature (3D).

If you need body data you can link the CFD to a Mechanical model (automatic transfer) or use the export options under the File menu to pick the cell zone and value(s) of interest under Solution Data.

But I work in Transient Thermal and I can only link Transient Thermal Solution to CFD-post (Results) (automatic transfer), but in this case I can't get temperature field for body, which is a part of assembly (only for whole domen or assembly (I need only for only one body). And when I export data in Transient Thermal, (for example, in .txt or .xls) I get only node number and temperture in this node. But I need coordinate (not node number) - x,y,z - and temperature in this coordinate.

      Katya,

In Mechanical, go to Tools > Options > Export and set the option for "Include Node Location" to Yes. Now when you export the body temperatures to a text file, the nodal coordinates are included along with the temperature.
