Hello everyone, I hope you are doing very well.
I'm working on a PMSM machine simulation to calculate the magnets losses. The problem is that I'm getting high magnets losses value and the efficiency is around 86%.
Is there any suggestions to increase the efficiency?Â

Hi Jaafar,
Reducing Magnetic losses in a machine is a design decision. Ansys employees cannot help users with any design or project-related information.Â
You can look at various factors in the electrical machine that are responsible for high core loss. such as the core loss of the steels you have considered at the operating frequency, the thickness of the lamination e.t.c.,
We encourage other users in the forum to pitch in for further discussion.
We are happy to help you if you have any issues with Ansys tools.
Regards,
Navya
