Ansys CFX doesn’t register a change in parameter

      Hi,

I want to test several different mass flow rates, so I created an expression and used it in the Outlet Mass Flow rate parameter.

I then went to CFD-Post and selected the expression that gives me the actual measured mass flow rate after running the simulation.

No matter what I do, Ansys simply ignores the value I give for the input parameter.

      Hi Jesse,

I can see that MFlow has been defined, but for the mflowtotal, the expression you have used is  mflow*nMainBlades. mflow has a lowercase 'm'. Whereas the original mass flow expression had Uppercase 'M'.

      This might be the problem.

I think I found the problem, I reset the results (cfx-post) and now its working. It was using old equations that needed to be reset or re-calculated, even tho i dont see how the results should be affected by the post-processor.

      Anyway it's working now !
