SubscriberHello all,Â
I am doing random vibration analysis of one assembly , here the bolts are holding two plate i have considered the contact between the bolt and plate as bonded. I am getting very high stresses in perticularly concentrated the bolt and plate edge area. I feel this is a stress singularity as it is concentrated to very narraw but why it is coming bcz its not an sharp edge.

Forum ModeratorYou can refine the mesh further to confirm if it is stress singularity. It could it be because of the edge of the plate digging on the bolt.

SubscriberThank you sir for your prompt reply, I did mesh refinement and found that its value is increasing rapidly. In this which stresses we should consider as real one?
