Hello, I am having a assembly which consists of so many subassemblies and parts which well arranged in Spaceclaim geometry tree, but whenever i am taking this geometry in Ansys Mechanical all getting disturbed . Only componnets which is having share topology analysis option on in spaceclaim that only mainting the geometry tree structure in Mechanical.

I am also using group option but it still not keeping my geometry tree intact, do i need to do any Import settings?

Hello BALA,

Are you grouping individual objects in SpaceClaim? Mechanical sorts the objects under geometry in A-->Z format. If you want the same tree in both SC and Mechanical. Arrange the tree in A-->Z order in SC first before opening mechanical.

Thanks for reply, I tried this one method but still its only keeping the parts who are shared in one group others are still dispalced randomly.
