SubscriberHello everyone,
Can anyone tell me if I can impose additional pressure (defining them inside Ansys Mechanical) inside Ansys Mechanical when coupling with fluent. Or can Ansys Mechanical work with only pressure from Fluent when coupled through System Coupling? |
Example- Say pressure imposed on a stent by the artery walls( will be imposed using Ansys Mechanical internally) and then pressure calculated, received from Fluent due to blood flow. -

Ansys EmployeeHi,
I suggest you to please check fluent user's guide which explain FSI in detail:Chapter 24: Modeling Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) Within Fluent (ansys.com)
Hope you will find this useful.
Thank you.

SubscriberHello. I tried out a small simulation imposing additional pressure and it did work on a coarser, smaller model. So I will say it is possible.
