SubscriberHello All,
I have Lumerical properly installed with an Enterprize license successfully served by License Manager. But when I try to run any RCWA-based script in standard examples, for example, Metalense, I get the next error message:
Error: C:/Users/Power/Documents/LUMERICAL_2023R1.02_WINX64/Model/3431df34-metalens/rcwa_unit_cell_plot_phase_T.lsf line 89: Error obtaining the license for stack_solver. Please activate the required license, or visit the l.com/redirect/fwd29.html">Licensing Page for more information.
This issue is reproduced in any project while other solvers work well. I wonder what is it that's causing an issue? Why does the product ask for license when I have already got one?

@Dmytro Fedin,
Please configure "RCWA solver" with 4 threads if you do not have Ansys HPC licenses on your server.
>>> Resource configuration elements and controls – Ansys OpticsIf you check run with design environment (default) in the resources configuration, set Threads in the Design environment tab to 4.Â
Otherwise, if you have Ansys HPC licenses, set the threads according to the number of HPC license available on the server.

Ansys Employee@Dmytro Fedin,Â
You are welcome.
Sorry it's the "RCWA solver" resource configuration tab, I mistaken indicated "Stack solver".Â
Have a wonderful day!Â
