Transient Solutions on Student Software

  Is there any way I can run a simulation of an axial flux pemanent magnet motor and get torque data from it? How can I run a transient simulation if I only have student software?

  Ansys Maxwell in the student version of AEDT does not support Transient simulation.
  No, you cannot calculate the torque of the motor using either a magnetostatic or eddy current solver.
  Because magnetostatic cannot include the ac winding currents and eddy current does not support Permanent magnet sources.
  You can look at the limitations of the student version under “Ansys Electronics Desktop Student” section of Maxwell help.
