Geometry editor closed abnormally (Workbench / Spaceclaim)

I've been using Workbench, Spaceclaim, and Mechanical fine for weeks (21 R2 on Windows 11 on my personal computer). Suddenly, a few days ago, Spaceclaim started misbehaving. First the Additive Prep build volume wouldn't generate (but also didn't produce any errors).

If I try to load Spaceclaim from Workbench I'm told "The geometry editor was closed abnormally".

      Steps I've already tried:

      1. I removed the Additive Prep features from Spaceclaim (Options > Licenses > Unchecked Additive) and that hasn't solved the issue.
      2. Renamed the Ansys APPDATA folder to clear the config.
      3. Run the SpaceClaim config file (Ansys/v212/commonfiles/configs/win64x/config/AnsConfigSpaceClaim.exe)
      4. Uninstalled the entire Ansys suite. Removed any lingering folders/files in the install directory. Rebooted. Reinstalled the entire Ansys suite.

And, I'm having the same problems.

I have no idea what to try next and this has basically put a stopper on all my work.

      I solved the issue by:

      1. Uninstalling the 21R2 suite.
      2. Deleting the remaining files and folders here:
        1. C:\Program Files\Ansys Inc
        2. %APPDATA%\Local\Ansys
        3. %APPDATA%\Local\Ansys\SpaceClaim
        4. %APPDATA%\Roaming\Ansys
        5. %APPDATA%\Roaming\Ansys\SpaceClaim
      3. Restarted my PC
      4. Reinstalled the 21R2 suite.
