After consulting with development team, I have submitted a defect for this issue. Below are the defect details for your reference:Â
Â
Defect Title:Â 3dxml file won't open in SpaceClaim
Defect found in Release: R19.2
Defect ID:Â DE180827
As a workaround, you can export V5 file format (CATpart) or other netural files formats like stp, x_t, as available and proceed.

Ansys EmployeeHello GUICAD I have got following update from development team regarding this defect DE180827 (3dxml file won't open in SpaceClaim):
It appears that the 3dxml files were NOT exported with "Authoring". Â Please note:
The CATIA V6 Reader has the following limitations:Â
Only supports CATIA V6 - 3DXML with Authoring  ?  There are two types of 3DXML files which can be generated and exchanged. The ?3DXML with authoring? (which include the export of geometry and meta-data) is supported by the CATIA V6 Reader. The ?3DXML for review? is not supported by the CATIA V6 Reader. In version 2019R2 (R19.4), a warning message will be added to help users understand why no bodies were imported: "Warning file does not contain authoring data"
