Geometry definition of Fluid flow simulation

      Hello,

I have a fluid flow simulation, and I am using Discovery AIM. It is about the fluid flow in the battery lid.  As the geometry is too complicated, I wanted to ask if it is possible to use only the fluid region part in the simulation?

      Many thanks for your support,
      Farnaz

Hello farnazhd66 If you want to choose a particular body in your geometry as the fluid region, you can do that while importing the geometry for your simulation in this step. Please let me know if this answers your question. Regards.

Thanks, but my question is, does it make sense, if from the beginning, only the fluid region part is imported to the simulation(not the whole geometry.)

Like In your example, can I import just the orange part as the whole geometry?

        Yes farnazhd66

The way I mentioned is the way you can start with fluid, please try it.

        Regards.
